Navy Island refers to a small tropical island off the coast of Port Antonio, Jamaica. In the 18th century, the island was used by the British Royal Navy (hence the name). The rich history of Navy Island and its exquisite location inspired this fine Jamaican rum. According to local legend, Navy Island changed hands in the 1940s during a rum-fuelled poker game involving a Hollywood celebrity. Even today, the island remains one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean. The rich and vibrant history of Navy Island inspired this traditional Jamaican rum brand.
Tasting Notes:
Deep amber, golden colour. Very appealing, characteristically Jamaican nose. Wonderful balance of vanilla, rich ripe fruit, bananas, baked apple and caramel. Full-bodied rum. Long and very satisfying dry finish. Elegant and well balanced. A gorgeous rum. HOW TO ENJOY – The perfect way to enjoy the Navy Island XO Reserve is straight or on the rocks.

Chuť: tropické ovoce, černý čaj
Závěr: dlouhý, lehce pikantní tóny banánu a dlouho louhovaného černého čaje
Zajímavý sušší rum kterému ale prostě něco chybí.
Nějak se nemohu rozhodnout, takže dávám 5,5/10

Must have been the wrong part of the alcohol making process in my one. Smelled bad, tasted worse. Like bad moonshine.
This is a borderline sipping rum. Very fragrant with a mild sweet smell.

Same as mats, odor is awful like a burnt coil. Good finish but global taste is not good 🙁.. for me 4 in a row with a note at 2 or less, Hope next one will be nicer !!
