Banqero’s story has its roots long ago… It started back in 2003, after a scorching summer spent in a tank without air conditioning, the Valaisan and the Genevois developed a frank camaraderie. It is always said that only good memories and friends for life are brought back from the army. While the first is almost true, the second is absolute! The years pass and the friendship is strengthened thanks to some common passions, most notably their passion for traditional rums (molasses rum) from the Caribbean.
How it all started: After many years of accumulated knowledge, all they needed to do was to put it to use. On Saturday, February 2, around a coffee, a “bright” idea came across their minds: what if we produce rum in Switzerland? After a bit of research, they discover that there is no Swiss rum available on the market. It was quickly agreed, they wanted to manufacture the first rum ‘Made in Switzerland’. This project was theirs and they knew it would be exciting!

Aroma: fermentovaná sladkost s tóny tropického ovoce, vanilky, karamelu a lehké přítomnosti dřevin v pozadí.
Chuť: hladká chuť dřevin, koření, pražené kávy a vanilky
Závěr: hřejivý, dlouhý s tóny dřevin
Mě to teda vůbec nechutnalo, je to sladký rum s pachutí…. ani nevím po čem. Sám výrobce udává že je to rum do drinků a prezentuje nejlepší recepty na tyto nápoje ale vzhledem k nákupní ceně znám mnohem chutnějších a levnějších lahve na míchání koktejlů.
Prostě nepovedené cosi co se tváří že to tak mělo být…. jelikož ale znám horší chutě, dávám 3/10

Hat vom Geschmack etwas mehr von einem Grappa als von einem Rum. Ist durch die Zuckerung von 30 g/L (Herstellerangabe auf der Homepage) auch eine Spirituose auf Rum Basis

Un nez vraiment pas bon, un goût pareil mais une longueur en bouche pas trop désagréable la seconde fois. La troisième fois marque le coup de grâce : je n’aime pas du tout ce rhum 😅

For me not great, maybe 2*. Aroma: something like homemade drink in Slovakia “domáca”. Taste: suprisingly sweet, smooth, I was anticipanting something harsh based on aroma. Still it reminds me homemade alcohol made from plums “domáca slivka”, despite of the sweetness and smoothness
