Signature Blend
Plantation Rum Signature Blends reflect the soul of rums from Barbados and Jamaica, to Guatemala and Belize, to Fiji and Mauritius. Plantation Rum Grande Réserve is a tribute to the rich rum culture of Barbados from our own Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery, founded in 1893 on Brighton Beach. Our distillery preserves the traditions of Barbadian rum-making, thanks to archives found in our Distiller’s Vault and our collection of vintage stills, some dating back centuries. Part of the blend of the multi-award winning Grande Réserve rum is made in our “Old Gregg’s” copper pot still, handcrafted in 1850: a true piece of rum history.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Complex and well-balanced with notes of ripe tropical fruits and vanilla, evolving into hints of white peach and coconut.
Palate: Warm and complex, with an initial wave of tropical candied fruits followed by rich bourbon vanilla, balanced by fresh fruits and delicate tannins.
Perfect Serve: An excellent apéritif rum that also works well in classic cocktails like the Mai Tai.

It feels like peach version of bourbon honey but I would call it bourbon peach with extract of coconut.

Smaken går mot mandelmassa och honung. Som tur är är det en smak som försvinner snabbt. Doften har en parfymerad orientalisk rökelseton. Tycker jag om den – nix. Gör sig nog bäst i drink blandning.

Warming fruitiness that opens up to a slight vanilla. Lovely straight up on a cool winters day to warm you up from the inside thinking of the tropics.

Solid offering on day 2! I’m catching a lot more vanilla notes and warm almond finish. It was tasty neat, but I can also see this pairing well in many cocktails.

Mixed a little with a cola mixer. Would not recommend. Made it taste like cough syrup
